Congratulations to Ralph David, 8th grader, whose art won 3rd place in the No Place for Hate Art Contest. He was honored at Kennesaw State University on Sunday!


Milestones Assessment Continue This Week

We will be making up Milestones assessments this week for students who need to complete a portion of the test. Make ups will be Monday - Wednesday.


8th Grade Parent Meeting for DC Trip

If you have an 8th grader going to Washington, DC May 6-10, please plan to meet in the Media Center for a parent meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will not last more than 30 minutes. You are welcome to stay for the chorus concert!


Relay for Life

We had a fun time at Relay for Life on Friday. Hilsman raised over $1000 to contribute to find a cure for cancer. Pax Panther was the life of the party!



SET Updates

May 9th will be another fundraiser for SET. Come out to Fatz for a pancake breakfast and silent auction!






PTO News


Everyone, remember that PTO has t-shirts and hoodies for sale. Cotton t-shirts are $10, Dry-fit are $15 (just a few dry-fit sizes left), and hoodies are $25. You can purchase them from the main office. Show your "we are Hilsman" spirit!



Athletics

Cedar Shoals C-Team Spring Football Practice will be Mon. April 27th - Thurs. May 7th (no Fridays) from 4:30-6:30 p.m.at Cedar Shoals High School. Parents need to be at the school by 6:30 to pick up their children. Thanks!
