Congratulations to our Chess Team! They defeated Coile and are County Champs!

We had a great time in Washington, DC this past week with 67 of our 8th graders. We are looking forward to making this an annual trip! 7th grade parents, be on the lookout for information about a parent meeting to be scheduled soon for next year's trip!

SET Updates

Only One More SET Meeting...

Wednesday, May 13 * 5:30-7:00 pm - Activity = End of the Year Party @ Barberitos & Fundraiser Night for SET

Everyone that presents the flyer will have 15% of their meal cost donated to our team. Since we won't receive the earnings from this fundraiser in time to pay for DC trip registrations, the money we earn on Wednesday night will be used to support our Green School Program at Hilsman - Green Team incentives and Trash Hunger Thursday incentives.

Fatz Cafe Fundraiser - Short Stacks for Big Change - Saturday, May 9 Results

Thank you so much for all of your hard work and effort to make our 1st ever Short Stacks for Big Change/Fatz Fundraiser a success. We raised over $1,200 for our DC Delegation, Green School Programs at Hilsman, and Earthquake Relief in Nepal. Donations are still coming in, so I will share more details tomorrow. BTW - if you have any money to turn in for this fundraiser, please turn it in by Tuesday, May 12.

Food Bank Summer Work Days

We will schedule Food Bank work days this summer. The Food Bank has requested our help during the summer when college students are away. Volunteering at the Food Bank will count on the 2015-2016 SET Year participation points.
